Goku pleaded Chi-Chi.
He wished for Gohan to just meet up with his old mates.
"Please Chi-Chi, just once and then Gohan can resume his studying."
He looked at Chi-Chi's eyes.
Goku's eyes gleamed.
He made a puppy-dog face.
He wished Chi-Chi would say Yes.

{name:CHI CHI#|#picture:5}Chi Chi glared at Goku, her eyes narrowing. There was a long pause between Goku's pleas and Chi Chi's eventual reply.
"There is no way that Gohan is going to go anywhere today."
She paused again for a moment before continuing.
"Without me there."
A slight pout formed on Chi Chi's face as she resumed her sentence.
"Fine. I'll have to go along with you two though to make sure that we get back home on time!"

He saw Piccolo, they had fought once in a tournament.
"Argh!"
His stomach stung.
He then got up to his knees.
Tien saw Raditz charging at Piccolo.
"Behind You!"
Tien shouted to Piccolo.
He hoped Raditz would lose.
But judging from his strength, he seemed strong enough to beat almost anyone in the Planet Earth.
"Behind You!"
He called again.
Tien wasn't sure if Piccolo heard him.
He pulled out his left and aimed at Raditz.

{name:RADITZ#|#picture:2}Raditz again chuckled as the three eyed man that he had just supposedly taken out called out in a futile effort to help out the newcomer.
"What spirit."
Raditz halted as the three eyed man warned the Namekian of the attack from behind, allowing himself to gently land on the rocky ground.
There was no time for any more of these games. Frankly, the Saiyan was amazed that warriors such as this still existed on the planet. He was certain that Kakarot should have already wiped them out by now.
Speaking of which, finding him was first priority.
"I have had enough of these games. Tell me where Kakarot is, and I may spare your lives!"

He didn't know if it was the right thing for Chi-Chi to come along.
"Um, Chi-Chi, I heard from someone that someone important is going to come and I think he is more likely to see you. Besides, who is going to cook dinner? Bulma will make sure we'll come back on time. She has a short temper."
Goku hoped that this message he had heard somewhere would convince Chi-chi to stay.
To make sure he was telling the truth, he changed his lips to a smile as if he were excited.
"I would've really wanted you to come, but someone has to be here to greet this important person. I have to go catch up with Muten Roshi, Gohan really wants to see Krillin and Roshi."
He dug his fingers in his hair and rubbed it beacause he was afraid that Chi-Chi would not be convinced.
Then Goku laughed.

{name:CHI CHI#|#picture:5}Chi Chi's face expressed more anger with every passing word. Red flames ignited around her as she moved her hands to her hips.
"No way Goku! There's no way that I'm letting Gohan go anywhere without my supervision! It's really important that we get home before nightfall so that Gohan can get started with his studies!"
She folded her arms and turned away from Goku; protective of Gohan.
"Either I'm coming, or we're not going at all and that's final!"

He dropped down on his stomach.
"W-Who are you? What are you doing here?"
Tien gasped for air since the blast knocked the air out of him.
He looked up at Raditz, who was standing there chuckling.
"W-Who is this Kakarot you are talking about?!"
He waited for his answer.
